Contract sofas, armchairs and CRIB5

Our contract range — the Toledo, Mathew, Harold, Marley and Norway sofas, our easy-clean faux-leather 2 and 3 seaters, and our lounge and tub armchairs — is certified to Crib 5 (BS 5852 Source 5). The branded sofas are covered by a FIRA composite test of cover and filling; the faux-leather seaters and armchairs by Source 5 foam certificates that the manufacturer confirms cover them. Certification documentation is available on request for fire risk assessments, local authority inspections and procurement teams.

The Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 set the baseline for upholstered furniture supplied in the UK, including furniture in furnished lettings. For commercial premises such as hotels, care homes, HMOs and student accommodation, Crib 5 is the specification that fire risk assessments, local authorities, insurers and procurement teams commonly require. If you are unsure what your premises need, check your fire risk assessment.
