Who We Are
Online And Ltd (Company No. 13563891, VAT No. 391 0206 26) is a UK direct-to-consumer furniture retailer. We sell beds, mattresses, sofas, headboards, bedroom furniture, and more — sourced directly from UK manufacturers and delivered free to your home in 3 working days.
We built onlineand.direct on a single observation: most furniture is not expensive to make. It is expensive to sell. Showrooms in retail parks cost millions to run. Regional distribution networks, wholesale margins, and high street rates all add up — and they all get passed on to you, the customer. We decided to cut all of that out.
How Direct Pricing Works
Every product on onlineand.direct is sourced directly from the manufacturer or primary UK supplier. When you place an order, it is manifested directly to that supplier, collected by our carrier, and delivered to your door by our specialist 2-man team. There is no warehouse, no intermediate holding depot, and no retail middleman. The price you see is the manufacturer's price plus our margin — nothing more.
This is why we can offer free delivery on every single order. Delivery is not a loss leader or a promotional offer. It is simply what fair pricing looks like when you are not recovering the cost of a retail estate.
Our Products
Our range covers over 2,000 products across beds, mattresses, sofas, headboards, kids beds, wardrobes, and bedroom and living room furniture. We stock brands including Visco Therapy (mattresses) and Furniture To Go (bedroom and living room furniture), alongside our own-sourced ranges of metal and divan bed frames.
We specialise in areas that high street retailers either overlook or overprice. Our contract and commercial range is a good example: CRIB5 fire safety certified beds, mattresses, and sofas for hotels, HMOs, student accommodation, and care homes. All CRIB5 products meet the fire retardancy requirements of BS 7177 and related legislation, and our metal bed frames are independently certified by FIRA (Furniture Industry Research Association) and SGS — two of the most respected testing bodies in the UK furniture industry.

Certification matters in furniture, particularly in categories where safety standards apply. Our products are tested and certified to:
- FIRA (Furniture Industry Research Association) — independent testing and certification for metal bed frames
- SGS — global inspection and certification across our commercial range
- CRIB5 / Source 5 — UK fire retardancy standard for commercial sleeping environments (BS 7177); required by law in hotels, care homes, HMOs, and student accommodation

Delivery
Every order is delivered by our specialist 2-man direct home delivery team. Standard delivery is 3 working days to your entrance hall, including up to two flights of stairs where no lift is available. Express delivery is available on selected products for an additional charge. We deliver to mainland UK; Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and island addresses may incur additional charges or lead times — contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
