Orthopaedic Mattresses

Orthopaedic mattresses are the firm end of the range. "Orthopaedic" is not a regulated or medical term in the UK: here it means a firmer, more supportive build than a standard mattress. This page brings together every orthopaedic and semi-orthopaedic mattress we sell.

Which firmness?

Orthopaedic (firm): sprung mattresses built for firm support, for sleepers who prefer a firm surface. Semi-orthopaedic (medium-firm): sits between a standard and a full orthopaedic mattress. Ortho foam: Visco Therapy Balance and Bliss Ortho mattresses in support foam, memory foam and gel memory foam, delivered rolled and boxed. If you are choosing because of back or joint pain, firmer is not automatically better — our mattress buying guide explains firmness and sleeping position.
