Who Needs Semi-Orthopaedic?

Many people find that a standard medium mattress doesn't provide quite enough resistance for their back, but a full orthopaedic mattress feels uncomfortably hard. Semi-orthopaedic specification is engineered for this middle group — firm enough to prevent the lower back sinking into misalignment during sleep, but with enough give to be comfortable for side sleepers and those without acute back conditions. Often the first step up when a GP or physiotherapist advises a firmer sleeping surface.
