Questions

What is the difference between this and the reinforced CRIB5 divan?
This base uses standard commercial-grade construction. The reinforced variant adds extra slats for greater durability in high-turnover settings. Both carry the manufacturer's maximum user weight rating of 190 kg (30 stone) combined. For typical hotel or care home use, this standard CRIB5 upholstered base is the appropriate specification.

Is CRIB5 certification documentation available?
Yes — fire safety documentation is available on request for procurement and fire safety assessors. Contact us.

Is Free UK mainland delivery included?
Yes — free UK mainland delivery on all Wholesale Beds contract products through Onlineand.direct.

CRIB5 Fire Safety Certification

CRIB5 (Source 5 / BS 7177 Medium Hazard) is the fire-resistance standard normally specified for commercial sleeping accommodation in the UK, and the level a fire risk assessment under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 will typically call for. This divan base is CRIB5 certified and suitable for use in all regulated commercial settings without additional fire-safety treatment.
