Questions

Why an Ottoman Bed?

Ottoman beds are the UK's fastest-growing bed category — up 40% in search volume year on year. The gas-lift mechanism opens the full footprint of the base, giving access to the entire under-bed cavity rather than just one or two pull-out drawers. For bedrooms short on wardrobe space, city apartments, or spare rooms where every square metre counts, a gas-lift ottoman delivers more usable storage than any drawer alternative. The neutral grey fabric keeps the HOUOTTO easy to live with across seasons and décor changes.

How long does delivery take? Free UK mainland delivery direct to your door, typically within 3 working days.

Does it require assembly? Yes — the HOUOTTO arrives flat-packed and requires self-assembly. All fixings and instructions are included; no specialist tools needed.

What sizes are available? Double (4'6" / 135 × 190 cm) and King (5'0" / 150 × 200 cm).

How do I care for the grey fabric? Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild upholstery cleaner. Allow to dry naturally. A lint roller removes pet hair and dust between cleans.

How does this compare to a divan bed with drawers? Divan drawers only access one or two sides of the base — the ottoman mechanism opens the entire footprint, giving significantly more usable storage space. The high upholstered headboard also gives a more premium, finished look than most divan sets.
