The High Headboard Effect

A tall headboard transforms the visual scale of a bedroom — it draws the eye upward, makes ceilings feel higher, and turns the bed into the centrepiece rather than just a piece of furniture. In smaller UK bedrooms, a high headboard is one of the most cost-effective ways to make the room feel more considered and luxurious. The black faux leather version adds a hotel-suite quality that plain fabric headboards rarely achieve.
