Who Is This For?
The storage day bed is designed for rooms with competing demands: a home office that needs a guest bed, a teenager's room that needs lounging space without losing floor space to a sofa, or a compact spare room that has to earn its keep. In smaller UK homes where storage is the constant challenge, the under-bed drawers are the deciding factor.
How does the storage work?
Pull-out drawers beneath the frame provide accessible storage for spare bedding, clothing, or seasonal items. The drawers do not affect the day bed function.
What size mattress does it take?
A standard UK single mattress — 90cm wide by 190cm long. Any standard single mattress will fit.
Can it be used as a sofa during the day?
Yes. The back rail and end panels create a sofa-like appearance when styled with scatter cushions and a bolster along the back. No folding or converting needed to switch between sofa and bed modes.
What can I store in the drawers?
Spare bedding, pillows, seasonal clothing, or any items you want out of sight. Ideal in smaller rooms where wardrobe or linen cupboard space is limited.
