Who Is This Bed For?

The SKYOTTO is ideal for anyone redecorating a bedroom around a colour accent, or for buyers who want a bed that reads as distinctly different from the standard grey-and-white bedroom. Sky blue pairs especially well with white, cream, natural wood, and pale gold accessories. The storage compartment is valuable for compact bedrooms where under-bed space serves as a key storage zone.

Is sky blue velvet a practical bedroom colour?
Yes — velvet fabric is relatively resilient in a bedroom context. The pile can be refreshed with a soft brush if it becomes flattened. The sky blue tone hides light dust well between cleans.

Does the SKYOTTO headboard stand alone?
No — the headboard is integrated into the bed frame structure. It attaches as part of the assembly process.

What is the gas-lift storage access like?
Lift from the foot of the bed with a gentle upward push. The gas pistons hold the platform open; there is no prop or latch required. To close, pull the platform down gently — the pistons provide a controlled descent.

What UK sizes are available?
Double (4'6" / 135 × 190 cm) and King (5'0" / 150 × 200 cm). Both require a standard UK-size mattress (sold separately).

Is there a weight limit on the storage compartment?
The manufacturer does not publish a specific storage weight limit, but the compartment is designed for typical household items such as bedding, pillows, and clothing.

Is Free UK mainland delivery included?
Yes — free UK mainland delivery is included on all Wholesale Beds products through Onlineand.direct.

Style & Material Notes

Sky blue velvet works in both bright natural light (where it reads as fresh and summery) and artificial warm lighting (where it deepens to a richer blue). The colour coordinates with white, wood, brass, and chrome finishes. Velvet upholstery should be maintained with a soft brush in the direction of the pile.
