Questions

Why an Ottoman Bed?

Ottoman beds provide the most efficient bedroom storage available — the full base opens rather than just a pull-out drawer on one side. In Super King size, this means an exceptionally large storage cavity suited to duvets, bulky bedding, seasonal clothing, and luggage. Smoked grey velvet is consistently the UK's most searched velvet bed colourway — its balanced, slightly muted tone sits confidently against a wide range of wall colours and bedroom palettes without the maintenance demands of lighter shades.

How long does delivery take? Free UK mainland delivery direct to your door, typically within 3 working days.

Does it require assembly? Yes — the SMGOTTO arrives flat-packed and requires self-assembly. All fixings and instructions are included; no specialist tools needed.

What sizes are available? Double (4'6" / 135 × 190 cm), King (5'0" / 150 × 200 cm), and Super King (6'0" / 180 × 200 cm).

How do I care for velvet upholstery? Do not wet-clean velvet — this causes watermarks and pile disturbance. Use a soft dry brush to restore the nap. Blot any spills immediately with a clean dry cloth rather than rubbing.

How does a Super King ottoman compare to a Super King divan with drawers? Divan drawers in Super King are typically split across two bases, each with limited access — the ottoman mechanism opens the full 180 × 200 cm footprint in a single lift, giving dramatically more usable storage space and a cleaner visual finish.
