Questions
Why Choose No-Bolt Assembly?
No-bolt beds are the ideal choice for furnished rental properties, holiday lets, and student accommodation — where beds need to be assembled and disassembled frequently without specialist knowledge or tools. The NBBLOCK’s platform base eliminates the slat-replacement maintenance associated with traditional slatted frames, and the low profile suits contemporary interior schemes where a bulky headboard would look out of place. The firm, even platform surface is particularly compatible with memory foam mattresses that benefit from solid, uniform support.
How long does delivery take? Free UK mainland delivery direct to your door, typically within 3 working days.
Does it require assembly? Minimal — no tools or bolts needed. The no-bolt design clicks together in under 15 minutes without any hardware.
What sizes are available? Single (3'0"), Small Double (4'0"), and Double (4'6").
How do I care for the frame? Wipe the powder-coated metal surface with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. The powder-coat finish is resistant to chipping and scratching under normal use.
How does a platform base compare to a slatted frame? A platform base provides firmer, more even support across the full mattress surface and eliminates the need to replace individual slats. A slatted frame allows more airflow beneath the mattress. Platform bases are particularly recommended for memory foam mattresses, which perform best on a firm, even solid surface.
